John's Story
Life update.
After high school I entered the U.S. Coast Guard for twenty years, and I completed the fun and games in 1999. I worked off and on over the years. I attended a community college in San Diego and received my certificate in Geographical Information Systems. I worked in San Diego until 2017.
Between 2008 and 2012, I spent various extended stays in Flushing while helping my parents. I returned to San Diego in March 2012.

moved to San Dimas so I could attend California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. (Roughly 35 miles to the east of Los Angeles. After I graduated I took a job at the university, but in the Computer Science dept.
I plan to retire again in a few more years.
My friend Tony Chmelar still lives and works in San Diego. He still enjoys the area very much.
We used to play golf whenever we get a chance; but that has been a long time ago.
