Life
I'm a New York-based actor.
School
Catholic grammar school -- public high school. Both in Connecticut.
College
BFA in Theatre Arts
Workplace
I've been a professional actor since 1959 -- a member of three unions: Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. I like what I do and will continue doing it as long as humanly possibly.
For the past 10 years I've been working mainly in films, TV, and commercials. I do try to perform on stage at least once a year to keep the old instrument in tune. I am a New York actor and all of my work has been done on this coast. I have great respect for talented directors and writers, especially Jim Jarmusch. I say "I" too much -- He doesn't.
July 2003 -- complete...Expand for more
d feature film "Parting Words." Film will have its first showing in April of 2006.
October of 2003 -- worked in film "Stay" -- directed by Marc Forster. Shot in NYC. "Stay" came and went. I loved the film and wept at its demise.
March 2004 -- did some work on Lodge Kerrigan's new project, now called "Keane."
Did a bunch of scenes in a new film "Game Six." which came and went rather quickly in 2006.
Flew to Dublin this fall (2004) to act in a scene of the feature film "The Honeymooners," starring Cedric the Entertainer as Ralph Cramden. Film tanked in a short time -- is now out on DVD. I play The Auctioneer.
As of October 2006: Worked in 3 feature films this year - ""Train Wreck - My Life as an Idiot," "The Ten," and last weekend worked in "Be Kind Rewind."
