John's Story
Life
I live in St. John, IN with my wife, Robin and our two kids, Morgan and Joshua, and one dog. Robin teaches at Deer Creek Christian School in University Park, IL where my kids attended until last year. My daughter will be a Junior in High School this fall and Josh will be an 8th grader at Hanover Central in Cedar Lake, IN.
I attended Valparaiso University and graduated with a BA in Communications. After nine years in Nat'l Advertising Sales, I took my MBA from Olivet Nazarene University and moved into Product Management/Marketing. General Manager for Alerting & Notification Systems within Federal Signal Corporation in University Park. We provide a fully integrated notification solutionfor public safety, healthcare, industrial and commercial markets.
I have been fortunate to travel throughout Europe and Asia for projects. I had the chance to teach at Olivet for five years as an adjunct instructor in their Graduate and Adult Studies program. I also provide Strategic and Business Planning consulting services.
