John's Story
Life
I married my high school sweetheart Mary Lynn Wurm (Wheaton Central). We have three wonderful children, Ashley(19), Joshua(17) and Tori(13). We now reside in Scottsdale Arizona (avg winter temp 70).
I worked for my father for a couple years after high school. That got old really fast! I went back to school at COD to earn an associates degree in Computer Science. After 10 years with Andersen I asked for a transfer to Phoenix. Luckly, there was an opening so they moved us down here. I left Andersen 1 year later.
In 2000 I took a job with Microsoft Corp. I'm now going on my 7th year with them. I started out in Microsoft Consulting Services. I traveled quite a bit in this role. In Jan 2005 I switched to a sales role in the K-12 Education vertical. My job title is Sr. Account Technology Specialist. I sell to and support 22 major school districts in AZ, NM, CO, UT and 1 in Vegas.
