Life
Born Dec. 2, 1940, Yale, Okla. Started School at Goodhope Elementary North of Seminole. Moved to town in 1949 attended Roosevelt Elem. Joined U.S. ARMY Dec. 1958, Discharged March 1962. Worked at Kerrs Dept Store for 2 years then Entered U.S. Navy. Two tours in Vietnam. One at Danang, and one abourd USS Fortify operating offshore searching Junks. Discharged 5 days early in Nov. 1967. Worked for one year for North American Aviaton in Long Beach, Calif. on space program. Laid off in 1968 When Nixon cut the space program. n. Worked as steelworker until moving to Superior, Wisc. in Aug. 1970. Self employed, (Gas Station) until 1973 fuel crisis shut me down in March. Went to work for BN Railroad in May 73, and stayed there until Novembe 16, 2000 When I was granted a full disability. Married October 1965 To Shirla Lettenmaier of St. Paul, Minn. Three Daughters, Anne, Tammy, and Carrie. Three Grand kids, Alek, age 9, Emily age 9, (seven weeks apart) and Stephanie 15 months. I fish, hunt, camp and hang out with friends.
