Jon's Story
Life
Actually went to college and played football throughout. Ended up with degree in Economics Willamette U. in Salem, OR.
Next 23 years in the insurance industry. Endured personal and profession ups, downs, and sideways' - you know... life!
Married in '79 (and still are!). Have two beautiful daughters - both graduating (I think) this year: U of O & Sheldon HS.
Survived two force-fed career changes and now back in the insurance game.
Still like sports and am an accomplished spectator athlete!
My daughters, my wife, my work, a mens group, and animals keep me busy. All in all, life is good!
Hard to believe the double-nickels year has arrived (maybe...Expand for more
questioned I make it this far?!). I certainly do look the part, but I don't feel this old mentally... or have I just lost my mind. Either way, remember with fondness what we were like "back-in-the-day" - good times, good friends, blown opportunities, mixed up priorities... thanks go out to those who had a major influence (whether you know/knew it or not) and apologies where appropriate for being a complete idiot... some of you fit into both categories!!
Would treasure a word from any of you out there. Haven't seen some of y'all since high school, some since college, others... - - way too long any way you slice it!
