Jon's Story
Let's see...Right after finishing high school in Oregon, I enrolled in college in Arizona. Couple of years went by, and I didn't have a clue what I wanted to major in. So I moved back to Alaska, ended up having a great career in the airline industry.
While working as System Admin for PenAir, I took an interest in programming. Finally I found what I really liked to do. So I finished college at UAA with an MIS degree.

pment for the government. Systems Analysis, Programming, and Project Management is truly the kind of work I enjoy.
When not working I like to go fishing in the summer in Alaska, salmon and halibut are my two favorite targets.
In the winter, my favorite pastime would be ridin' snowmachines (aka snomobiles for any non-Alaskans).
I have two boys, Nathan and William. I'm very proud of them. They do so well in school, we have a blast playing together, after all I'm really just a big kid too.
