Jon's Story
Life
After High School I went into TV while finishing college in Calgary. My first full time job was in Edmonton and I have been here ever since. In the 80s I worked for Scouts Canada and started my own assocaition management company in 1990. In 2004 I shut down my company and joined the Real Estate Board as marketing manager. I am active in the community on a number of boards having to do with affordable housing, the church, Farmers Markets, Scouting and politics. I also provide advice and resources to any number of other groups. Recently I recieved the Queens Jubilee medal from the Governor General and the Alberta Centennial medal from the local MLA for my community work.
