Jon (J.B.)'s Story

Life Born & raised in Muncie, In. Attended: Emerson Ele.,McKinley Jr. Hi., & of course MCHS. Was & still am an avid fan of Bearcat basketball & have lots of memorabillia especially from the 1950 & 1951 teams. Parents were good friends with Pete Jolley & Art Beckner so I got to go to all the games and received lots of goodies. Married-then divorced-4 kids all active in sports: daughter Angela -swim team, son Chris -football & track, son Brian basketball -played for Bill Harrel .Worked for GM for 30.8 years-17 in Industrial Eng.,13.8 in Human Resources Retired in 1990. Grandson, Drake just joined the Marines, I assist in the funeral detail for the American Legion in North Webster, IN - play taps on the bugle during funeral.. I now live in North Webster, In right on the lake. Just acquired a 1973 16" Century Resorter inboard with the big block Chrysler engine - so fast you would not believe it! Besides boating. have a 1974 XLH Harley Davidson Sportster.Re-built it from the ground up. Always win 1st. place in bike shows in Northern Indiana. We also like to travel, mostly Mexico. Puerta Vallarta is our favorite.
