My bio: Two years liberal arts at Beloit College (WI); BS Commerce (Majors.: Accounting, Mathematics, Law, Economics) Ferris State College which included a significant internship with, then, Seidman and Seidman-Metro Detroit; MBA (Finance/Accounting) Michigan State University; C.P.A. certified in a bunch of states over the years. Married: Kathleen Mary McCarthy (GRCC '64 a beautiful six footer); 12/16/67 Daughter: Laura Elizabeth (a beautiful six footer); 11/22/68 Son: Gustav Helge II (an Adonis-like six foot three-er); 7/29/72 Work: Seidman and Seidman-BDO/Seidman (S&S and BDO) 1965 through 1990; partner-in-charge-accounting and auditing for southeast Michigan; QC review "Captain" all over the USA (so what?...don't kid yourself, QC is a tough job, along with instilling a great sense of ethics in identified up-and-comers). After getting out of my "big firm" [S & S was then the ninth or tenth largest international CPA/Consulting firm in the world and is now ranked fifth] rat race sought a private NON-accounting/finance business to test entreprenurial skills and became, part of a Southfield, Michigan firm and resumed being an active CPA in quality, ethics and areas which take special and expansive expertise. I'm retired, a consultant, "of counsel," now.
