Jonalyn's Story
Life
After finishing high school, I attended college and earned a BS degree in Criminology from Florida State University. I was employed by the Department of Corrections working as a probation officer in Orlando, Florida. While working there, I earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. I worked as a probation officer for 10 years until we moved to Camp Legeune, NC. I had my second child and decided to be a stay at home mom.

e in Okinawa, Japan with my husband and children, ages 11, 3, and 5 months. My husband is an active duty Marine. I stay at home with the kids. I plan to stay at home until the youngest starts preschool. We will be leaving Okinawa in 2009 and our next duty station is unknown.
Being the wife of a Marine has been extremely challenging. We are often seperated for months at a time. However, we get to see exciting new places and meet some great people along the way. We have a great life!
