Jonathan's Story
Back in Korea with the U.S. Army, my third time and a charm. I originally came over for a two-year tour, but extended twice, with my second extension beginning this June for two more years. After that, I'm calling it a day with the U.S.A. - A. for Army that is. It will be slightly over 23 and a half years. Yes, life goes by swiftly.
Fortunately, I was able to bring the entire family with me this time and not have to pay for it. Sometimes the kids gripe about wanting to experience schooling in the states, but they don't know ...Expand for more
what they are missing ... and that is a good thing. The grass is always greener on the other side no matter where you are ... for some. I realize I can't shelter them for the rest of their lives, but being out of public school is just one less host of temptations for them that I have been able to influence by us being here. And, I know all about public school ...
We have been very blessed and don't have much, if any, room for complaints.
Once again, my writing side of the brain has kicked in. Now, where are those math cells?
