Jonathan's Story
Life
Here's a brief synopsis: graduated from BHS and attended UAH, quit; moved to Murfreesboro, TN to attend MTSU, quit; moved back home, got a job, met a former BHS graduate and got married; finished a Business Admin degree at Faulkner University; had a daughter; had another daughter; finished an IT degree from DeVry University; currently working on a songwriting career while working for Wyle Labs in Huntsville. The years in which these things happened are unimportant because they all run together as you get older! I sometimes play guitar and sing at a coffee shop in Huntsville when I have time. the songs were recorded while sitting on the couch with a laptop in front of me, so they are not exactly studio-quality. I just wanted to see which songs people like best.
One important recent event in my life is that I was installed as a deacon at Memorial Parkway church of Christ where my family attends. My duties are to take care of worship services at the Tut Fann Veteran's Home on Meridian Street.
Workplace
I'v been working at Wyle Labs as a Business Systems Analyst for a couple of years now. I'm still not doing what I love (writing/singing) but it sure beats unemployment and starvation and keeps the wife and kids happy.
I also do some IT consulting on the side. I'd like to work for myself someday but I'm going to need either one large contract or more than one client in order to do that.
