Jonathan's Story
I went to Bethel College directly after Wausau West High School where I was a music major for 2 years. I was not doing well in college, so desiring discipline and training for a future career, I joined the Navy as a Nuclear Electrician on a fast-attack submarine. After my enlistment expired, I became a civilian to spend more time with my family. I was married with two children at this time. I now have 7 kids (3 boys and ...Expand for more
4 girls) along with being happily married. After the Navy, I joined Siemens in Michigan as an HVAC technician. From there I transferred within the company to Green Bay, WI to become a field service tech for airport security machines. After over 4 years of that, I changed companies to Johnson Controls as a systems designer in HVAC controls again. I now work in civilian nuclear power at Kewaunee Power Station in operations.
