Jonathan's Story

Life Well, the biggest news in my life right now includes two items. First, 11 days from when I'm writing this, I'm moving to Las Cruces to finish my last two years of college (major in english with a minor in creative writing.) Second, and most important to me right now, is that a week ago I sent in my first novel. In three months, I'll know if I have been published :) I'm glad to be leaving Farmington. Though this city certainly is better than most of the places I lived in Wisconsin, I'm ready for something new. I'm finding I have fewer and fewer reasons to stay in Farmington as all of my friends are leaving, and I have a lot of memories here. I don't want to be living in memories any more, I want to start making new ones. That's what I'm looking forward to most when I move... School First school I attended was Monroe Elementary in Janesville, WI until 3rd grade. For ...Expand for more
one quarter I attended Washington Elementary in 4th, then moved to Marshfield, WI where I attended Grant Elementary, followed by Marshfield Junior High until 8th grade. Second quarter of 8th grade, we moved to Farmington, NM where I attended Mesa Verde Junior High and then later Piedra Vista High School. After graduation, I attended San Juan College for two years, and am now moving to Las Cruces to finish my college education at New Mexico State University. Of all of the schools I've attended, the ones with the fondest memories are definitely PVHS and San Juan College. There are only a handful of people from any other school I would ever want to regain contact with. Anyone from Monroe Elementary still in contact with Kaleena Meyer? how about Devin Keenan or Ross Cunha from Marshfield? College San Jaun College was great, but I can't wait for New Mexico State University!!!!
