Joni's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met my husband on the one and only military exercise I went in as a cook. He was stationed in North Dakota and I was stationed in South Dakota. We met in El Paso, TX. We were both in the Air Force. While in the military I was stationed on Guam and South Dakota. After I married my husband he moved from North Dakota to South Dakota where I was. When I was discharged from the military we went to Germany where he was stationed. He had family from there which was great and I had an Uncle who, when he retired from the USAF he stayed over there. He married a German woman and went to work for NATO. They lived in Luxembourg. I lost my husband July 11, 2022. He went in for bypass surgery on June 23rd and never made off the ventilator or sedation.

Children
I have one child. He is 32. Right now he is working at the small computer comany collecting data for companies. He has been married for 5 years. He was in Boy Scouts. He is now an Eagle Scout. He sang in special choirs from elementary to College. In college it was a concert choir her had to audition for.
My Pets
We have 2 Dachsunds. Onyx and Coco. They other 3 have passed.
My Job
Right now I am a stay at home Mom.
Hobbies
I love to cook and bake. I quilt. I do alot of counted cross stitching. I do alot of reading. I most important thing I love to do is Genealogy. I also love to collect cups and saucers.
College
I went to Shasta Jr. College for a year to study Food Production. The rest of my college was done while I was in the Air Force
