Joni's Story
Life
Divorced since December 2005. Living in Portland, OR. No children. One dog...Indigo, a chocolate lab/australian shepherd mix.
School
1st, 2nd & 3rd grades at Myrtle Creek Elementary in M.C. Oregon. 4th and first month of 5th grade at Tri City Elementary (still in/near M.C.). Then moved to Corvallis and finished 5th & 6th grade at Wilson Elementary. Then went to Highland View Middle School then to Corvallis H.S. Graduated 1981.
College
Went to OSU just one year after graduating from highschool. Majored in Education the first term, then switched to business. Then transfe...Expand for more
rred to LBCC. Went there a couple of years and got an AS as a Medical Receptionist and a certificate as medical transcriptionist. Wished I had stayed at OSU and graduated from there.
Workplace
After high school, while attending college, I worked at Good Sam Hospital in Corvallis. First in the kitchen/cafeteria for a few years, then in Medical Records dept for several years. Worked at Good Sam for 8 years and then moved to Portland. Worked at Safeco Insurance Company for almost 14 years. Quit in June 2003 and now am a Creative Memories Consultant full time. Have been a consultant since 1997.
