Jonie's Story
Life
My biggest and proudest accomplishment in my life are my 3 children. My daughter, Carol is 31, oldest son, Derick is 29 and my "baby", Dale is 28 (he and Carol have the same birthday!). I have lived in N.C. since 1991 and for the most part I love it here. The winters are the only thing I don't like. I have lived in Germany two different times and was there when the Wall came down. ere is beautiful. I live not too far from where the movie "Dirty Dancing" was filmed (Lake Lure) and I work at a restraunt on the lake there. It has a view of the mountains and Chimney Rock. It's fantastic. I am engaged to a wonderful man and between us we have 5 kids (and two in-laws). I love having a big family.
I started college in the fall of 2007 and my major is Criminal Justice. I am hoping to work as a Victims Advocate when I graduate. I am really enjoying it.
