After my party days in High School and a few years after, I finally decided I needed to get it together and go back to school. I went to Skadron College and after getting an Associates Degree there, I realized college was easier and way better than High School. I went to Cal State afterwards and it has all paid off. I have a great job and make a living better than I could have expected. I have a fantastic husband who has stuck with me through good times and bad for 19 years now. I have three beautiful daughters who I am proud of and are growing to be wonderful women. My husband and I often ask ourselves how we ended up with such great kids. They are so different than we were at their age! We have had our share of struggles and tough times over the years but I feel like we've never had to deal with anything we couldn't handle and I know there are people less fortunate than we are. I am grateful for what God has given and continues to give me and my family. My oldest Tiffani just graduated college with a Bachelor's in Marketing. She is going to get her teaching credential and wants to teach in juvenile hall. She spent some time as an intern at juvenile hall and seems to have a passion for helping troubled kids. I keep trying to convince her to do something else because I just don't think it's the safest job. She just laughs and tells me she has to do something in life she is passionate about. We'll see how it works out. Maybe with the cutbacks in California she will have to choose a career in the medical or legal field lol. Tiffani is mother to my wonderful grandson Christopher who I adore! Tiffani is engaged to her high school sweetheart Kevin Hardy and the wedding will be in October 2010. Thank goodness they gave me time to save for the wedding! My middle daughter Amber has been a cosmetologist for approx 5 years now. The economy is definitely affecting her job, so sh...Expand for more
