Worked for Mobil Station-Division & Harlem, Jewel-Chicago & Harlem, Jim & Petes Pizza, Walker Adams Clothes-Marion & North Blvd., Maple Furriers-Marion St., Accurate Perforating Company-Chicago,Forest Park Sunoco-Harlem Ave, Oak Park Post Office, Oak Park Cadillac, U.S. Army-Fort Leonard Wood-MO, Ray Erickson's Speed Service-Chicago, Pioneer Transmission-Grand & Harlem and Hot Potato-Chicago. I owned Forest Park Sunoco 5 years and did 31 years as Dr. Beller optometrist Family Vision Care,LaGrange.

College
I went to Purdue to become an engineer...high school career folks suggested this. I quit
(just before failing out) sophomore year. I resumed college 7 years later...
(wife suggested this) and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Workplace
I have had many different jobs,in several different fields. I always spend the earnings quickly so I worked some extra hours to keep the earnings above the expenses. My wife has worked many years also but, is much more careful with spending. I retired 7/02, wife has not retired...stay tuned to see how this works out.
Military
This was some of the worst time I have spent. What a waste... but interestingly I do have some fabulous stories to tell about how I spent the time.
