Life
So,after I left St.Margaret's I went to Roosevelt High along w/John Cosby.I did vocal choir there,and performed in a few musicals like Grease & The Wiz.I knew all along since I was in Kinder that I was gay,but my Catholic upbringing just tormented me even more than what I was internally already dealing with.the fact that I confided to one of our Parish priest,& one of the school nuns,didn't really help cuz' all they could say was that I should really pray hard to change.After about a zillion Ha...Expand for more
il Mary's,I didn't change,still queer.The only person and true friend that ever understood me even though she never asked me up front,was Sister MaryAnn.She willalways remain a special person in my heart.My orientation was never discussed but it was understood between the two of us.She always used to tell me,..."some day you'll meet that special"someone" that will make you happy & help you fulfill your dreams"...Well,I've been close to meeting that "special" someone,but it just hasn't happened quite yet.
