Jorge E.'s Story
After going to la Universidad de los Andes and la Universidade Nacional I went to work for S.T.A.C.A. part of a Point 4 program between the American goverment and the Ministerio de Agricultura. After 2 years of working in Cundinamarca, Boyaca, Antioquia and Atlantico I emigrate to the USA. Resided in Red Bank, NJ went to Rutger's University and end working with Lily-Tulip a division of Owens-Illinois. I met a cute and beautifull cuban which I married in 1964. o Monmouth College, today Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. In 1982 we moved to Florida west coast. In 1987 we moved to Miami and I worked for the SunTrust Bank and also A.S.I.C. After having worked 40 years I retired in 2003 ans still live inMiami where I live with my only wife Irma. I keep in touch with some of my old high school "companeros" like Otto Banos,(in Bogota) Fico Carrillo, (in Santa Marta) Juan Manuel Arbelaez, (in Venezuela) Mazato, Camejo (both in Bogota) and Mayer Sasson that lives in New York.
