Josef's Story
I still live to my nickname "Eveready".
My mind is still as youthful as it was during my university years; however, my body can not catch up.
I still remember friends the way they were, and I feel that is the way it should be.
I feel just as young when I talk to my children's friends, then they say "Sir" and that ruins it.
The last time I danced, my mind was keeping up with the music, creating fantastic moves, only my feet were not aware they were supposed to start dancing.
I say I am retired (3 times), but I feel I should say I am "retarded".
My wife said it was dementia and I said, "Who are you?" and "What does dementia mean?".

ry frank, never pull punches, shot straight from the pocket. The truth is I am the best friend you have or would ever hope to have. I am there for my friends. I never, ever, forget a friendly deed or gesture towards my person. In the "..paid to do" category, yes, I am retired, but I am the best "we" in the "we need to..." jobs, I am under the directorship of my lovely wife. She and I travel a lot, but since my wife can not fly, and we both hate boats, ships, cruise liners, we average about 20,000 miles a year on our cars.
Short trips during the hot months, and long trips during spring and fall.
We absolutely do not travel during the family holidays...those are saved for family...specially our five grandchildren.
