Joe's Story
Stayed close to home the first few years after McK to help take care of my dad and new kid sister. Allison is now 17, holy crap! My mom is doing really good, after a liver transplant a few months ago. My sister 6 years younger than me, April (she was head majorette her Senior year at McK), just got married at 30 and lives in North Canton.
I also got married at 30, to a band/choir director. She likes to hike and get muddy. I finally got around to finishing a BS in civil engineering and some unused minors the same month at The University of Akron. ile she was still teaching in NE Ohio. Fun, fun, fun. I destroyed my Beretta driving back and forth every weekend.
I am now an environmental engineer with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in Columbus since April 2004. I work on reducing non-point sources of pollution from agricultural and urban areas through developing models. Anotherwords, I get to work in streams and try to make Ohio a better place to live.
I still play drums. Right now I'm playing in a punk inspired rock band called The Pig Circus. We play around Columbus. I'm starting to play the banjo, feeding the suppressed Appalacian side of me.
I'd like to hear from old friends, and people I should have been friends with.
