Joseph's Story
My family moved from the East Side of Manhattan in 1959 (St. Catherine of Siena Grammar School, 1953-1959) to Weehawken, NJ, and I finished 7th & 8th grades at St. Augustine's in Union City, NJ.
Attended St. Joseph's in West New York, NJ until halfway through my junior year, then completed HS at Weehawken High.
Attended St. Peter's in Jersey City for four years at nights.
Cathy (Woehlemann) and I were married in 1970 and moved to Colorado (Ft. Collins) in 1971 where I finished my undergraduate degree.
Joined the USAF in 1973 and completed 20 years in 1993, mostly serving as a flight instructor in heavy bombers (B-52s and B-1s). Along the way, we had two wonderful childre...Expand for more
n, Mike (32) and Mary Catherine (29), and just had our seventh grandchild on 12 Mar 2010!
Picked up a few more degrees along the way (two master's and a doctorate) and am presently a professor emeritus (I think it really means just an old guy) at the Augustine Institute here in Denver. It's a great new Catholic graduate program.
I find myself very interested in old friends and wanting to know what their lives were like and how they're doing today.
Also, I'd like to find out what the Catholic faith meant to them and what it means to them today.
