Joseph's Story
High School
I hated high school, but probably would have felt that way no matter what school I attended. Now I have a much better attitude towards life such as the motto: "when given a lemon, make lemonade". However, I am much less corny than such a motto would indicate (grin).
College
I attended our local Community College, and Penn State University's University Park, PA (plus a class at Kutztown University). Attending class at University Park was like being in heaven. There is so much to do there, as it is (IMHO) like a small suburban version of New York City. There are plays, movies, sports events, concerts (both modern and classical), and not to mention things to learn through formal class and/or other ways (e.g., volunteer for charities). If I could, I would live there today. In 2001 I attained "Webmaster Certification" at Penn State Berks Campus, though that education was limited.

ked most of my co-workers. When I got out of high school, I worked at Joseph's Men's clothing store. On the whole, the Joseph's were very nice to me and I learned much there. Most of the co-workers there were very nice to work with also.
When I worked at the Community College, it was during the time it was moved to its permanent location. It was very fun to work there, and there also the co-workers (including the faculty) were fun to work with and great to know. Many of the faculty I knew there could be considered "heroic" in their attitude.
For just short of 11 years (until it shut down in 1990), I worked at the Georgia-Pacific paper factory as a laborer-machine operator, which included various positions which like operating machinery (production & material handling), and operating paper testing equipment. I also served as the Recording Secretary for the Local Union.
I have not entered my current place of employment here, but I enjoy it very much, in what I do and in interacting with my co-workers.
