Joseph's Story
After graduating from high school I joined the Navy and spent most of my time in Guam working on submarines. I had a great time there, because the weather was always warm and I would go scuba diving every weekend while there. After my tour in the Navy was over I went to Bradley University in Peoria and I received a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering. designing fixtures and writing programs for lathes, mills, sheetmetal, and JigBore machines. I worked with Texas Instruments until Raytheon took us over and I have now been working there for 30 years. I'm now in charge on bidding on jobs and after we win the contract I'm responsible for the manufacturing, painting, installing hardware and the final QC operations before we send the parts out to the customer.
