Joseph's Story
After graduation I went to Camden County College where I was a Junior College Track All American and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement. I went on to Valdosta State University in southern Georgia where I was an NCAA Division II Cross Country All American and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. In 1979 I moved to Dallas Texas and was hired by the Dallas Police Department. I graduated from the Dallas Police Academy in 1980. In 1985 I married a Texas girl. my wife Claudette. Claudette and I married in 2001. In 2006 my oldest son Jarrod graduated from high school and went off to Florida State University where he graduated in 2010. My youngest son Auston graduated from high school in June 2009 and went to Florida Gulf Coast University where he graduated in 2014. I retired from the Dallas Police Department in 2006 and relocated to Ft. Myers Beach in southwest Florida where my wife and I bought an old 1950's Beach Cottage that we are slowly fixing up. In 2006 I was hired by the Florida Gulf Coast University Police Department where I currently work. And Yes I still run every day.
