Started in the antiques business in 1983 when I was going to drexel U. Went into the business full time in 1985 after graduation. Opened a store ( antique warehouse) at 38th and lancaster ave. in the same year. Unfortunately that store burned to the ground in 1987 and I had to start from scratch. I was in the wholesale end of the business until I opened another store in 1990. This store, which is still in operation, is called Urban Artifacts and is located at 4700 wissahickon ave in Philadelphia. niture and some architectural items. We started selling on ebay in 1999 and as a result of this we started a second company called Antique Transport Co. This company is a blanket wrap nationwide delivery service which will deliver one piece or an entire truck load of furniture into your home or business. We are in the process of lauching a new venture which will be located in our current location. This will be a live auction company which will conduct approximately 4-5 antique auctions a year. The name of this venture will be Kamelot auctions and our first sale is scheduled for Feb. 2005.
