Joseph's Story
Following law school I became an Assistant Prosecutor in Passaic County, trying everything from simple drug possession to kidnapping, rapes and murder. Since 1978 I have headed a criminal law defense firm in Hackensack, trying the same cases from the opposite side of the table. It has been an interesting adventure into the underbelly of our culture and society, a rollicking ride that has never lost its allure.

friends who were classmates since kindergarten. I have such strong and fond memories of the school, the church and the gym beneath the church, but mostly my classmates.
I now live, for the last 10 years, in North Bergen once again, this time on the Hudson River, not on Tonnelle Avenue. The difference? Fewer tractor trailers on the river.
We are talking now of half a century of time since graduation. What grammar school child can comprehend someday being 70 years old? And yet, here we are. And thank god.
