Joseph's Story
Life
After graduating, I worked and partied (who didn't?), and I hung out with Mike Singleton trying to get some sort of music thing happening. In '91, I got married and had a son. The following year we separated and eventually got divorced because "I was too self-centered and into my music". On a bit of a rebound I started dating a friend and we got married and had two kids, a girl and a boy. We got divorced in '98 because she was a cheat, and I've been in only one relationship since. My dad unexpectedly passed away in in the middle of my second divorce in '97. My four year stint at Wherehouse Music resurfaced my passion for music, which lead me to writing poetry. However, I'm no longer looking for that "rock star" status, I just wanna create and keep putting my music out for people to hear. It's all cyber stuff, but I'm happy with it. You can find out more about me under rpmuzik. I don't know what else to say, so if you have any questions feel free to drop m...Expand for more

Workplace
While in school, I briefly worked at Safeway Grocers and then Mr.Gatti's Pizza. In '86, I worked at my sister's bar-b-q store for a few months. I worked for Pizza Inn from '87 to '91 as an asst. mgr. I then got into the grocery business and worked for Minyard Food Stores and Kroger for a few years. From '94 to '97, I went to work for a stainless steel kitchen equipment welding shop, teaching myself the trade, which I really enjoyed. In '98, I held a few different jobs...asst. mgr at Dominos Pizza (a disaster), a pawn shop, and various welding shops through a temp agency. I landed my job at Wherehouse Music in '99, and was there for four years. There were several meaningless jobs along the way, that didn't produce much. I was a merchandising manager for Petco for a few months (another disaster). My current job title is Restaurant Equipment Service Technician. Not my dream job, nor one to make a career out of, but it's paying the bills.
