Joseph's Story
Life
Went to SUNY at Buffalo, graduated 1984, entered Army as a commissioned officer, left in 1995 as Captain. Went to work for Airborne Express as supervisor, promoted to Station Manager Kansas City, promoted to District Manager Austin Texas, Promoted to Major Army Reserves. Left Airborne after DHL purchased it in 2004, went to work in Iraq as Senior Laison to the Multi National Force HQ in Baghdad, got to travel all over Iraq, what fun, the places I've seen, things I've seen. Retired from the reserves while I was there, got divorced, not my choice, lost 90 lbs, got a new lease on life. Have 2 great boys age 15 and 11, now living around the KC area, my...Expand for more
older brother is in this area also, has a winery, Slough Creek Vineyard in Oskaloosa Kansas, they have a website, check it out. Well, April of 2006 and I am heading back to Iraq for another year, was contacted by previous employer and given an offer I couldn't refuse. Back to the badlands, although there are some good deals on fixer up properties over there, and it is sunny most of the time, palm trees, nice warm breezes. To update this, been about two years, now remarried, had gone back to Iraq for another year. Have a great and beautiful wife, added two stepsons and a stepdaughter. Playing Mr Mom since I came back in May and concentrating on my MBA.
