Josh's Story
Workplace
Ever since he was young and would tease girls in school, Josh has been interested in making people reactÂ
or as some call it, entertaining.
He recently completed a role opposite Nick Stahl (In the Bedroom, Terminator 3) in a modern day take on Oliver Twist. The film played the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals and is called simply Twist.
He was seen in Seasons 3-5 of the U.S. television series La Femme Nikita. He played the male half of the Torture Twins, fan favorites for their brief but memorable scenes, in which theyÂd torture the villain of the week.
On YTV (CanadaÂs answer to Nickelodeon) Josh was a series regular on The Destruco Brothers, playing a bumbling, but very suave reporter, hot on the trail of the Destructos. Kids laughed at him. Not with him.
HeÂs also done a slew of hosting gigs on both radio and television. On television he hosted a few different live call-in shows for Cable. The topics ranged from Pop-culture to politicsÂ
all injected with a dose of Joshisms.
Josh recently tainted the radio airwaves with a regular shift at 102.1 The Edge. He also spent several years as the entertainment reporter for Live in Toronto on CFNY. He covered film, television and comedy, and interviewed hundreds of actors, directors and comedians during this time.

art of virtually every part of his life - ask about the burial of his GrandmotherÂs urn! He enjoys performing both Stand-up and Improvised comedy. HeÂs performed his quirky brand of Stand-up at most of the local Toronto venues, and at the Comedy Store in L.A. On the improv scene, heÂs done all levels of Second City, culminating with the Master Class. He was also in the cast of All-Canadian Theatresports in Toronto.
Josh spent a half-year as a Studio Guide at Universal Studios in CaliforniaÂ
basically competing with a mechanical shark for attention. He also performed for the National Hockey LeagueÂs NHL Fantasy - part of the 2000 All-star game. He recently acted as a roving host for the Toronto Argonauts home games on the Jumbotron at Skydome.
Over the last few years, heÂs done quite a few 30 and 60 second short films, or as the great unwashed like to call them: Âcommercials.Â
His favourite advertising experience was sharing the Molson Centre ice with hockey greats Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Yvan Cournoyer and Frank Mahovlich.
Now the boring stuff: Josh spent a year at the University of WindsorÂs Communication Studies/Drama program before going to Ryerson for the Radio and Television Arts Program, where he performed in lots of projects that will come back to haunt him, and got a BAA.
