Joshua's Story
Life
I'd like to say that I've done a lot with my life. Unfortunately, I haven't done as much as I'd like. I became a member of the Tacoma Magic Club a while back (big surprise, to those who know me, huh?), and have been practicing and trying to get to the point where I can perform and earn money. I live in an apartment currently, though that may change soon. I still love to read, and I read as often as I can. I also still like to write, and have a couple novels in the works that I hope I will finish someday and possibly get them published.
I've taken some martial arts; primarily the Filipino Martial Arts style, with some Karate as well. Unfortunately, I always ran out of money before I could advance very far in the schools. :( So I'm only a couple belts in.

ir/upgrade work on my computer, I went to Clover Park to take their A+ certification class in 2000. I passed the A+ test and am currently a certified PC technician.
In sadder news, I still have not yet found the right person. I'm single and wishing I weren't; I see all my friends and acquaintances getting married left and right and I can't help but wonder if I'm ever going to experience that. All I can do is leave it in God's hands, but that doesn't prevent me from occasionally spending emotional energy on it.
I think that about covers things.
Workplace
I worked for Hexcel in Kent for 5.5 years before being laid off. I held various positions in the company, ending as an inspector. After being laid off, I finished my schooling and tried Primerica for a year. It didn't work, and now I'm partially employed through a temp agency and planning on starting a freelance writing business. I'm also considering going back to school and getting a second degree.
