Joy's Story
Life
I live in NH and reunited with a long lost love from 1970, also an Everett grad, Roger Rutter (1968) and doing great. I have written 2 books, both fiction and they are available through Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com and all other book distributors. Besides writing, I enjoy Kayaking in the spring/summer/fall. Lately, I've been making braided rugs or dabbling in mosaics. I'm not great with mosaics, but we have some interesting items in the house now.
Update: I gave up the braided rugs when we ran out of floor and the mosaics led to other craft ideas. I enjoy loom knitting or working outside on a rock walkway/patio and I enjoy making concrete stepping stones as well.

think about him every minute. My next to the youngest, Tim, is in the Navy stationed in Virginia. My middle son, Jon, just returned from AIT National guard, so he'll be facing some time in Iraq. My step-son Brenton is in the Marines, but he is facing a medical discharge. He came home on leave last year to stand up in his sister's wedding but he didn't look healthy. That very week, he was diagnosed with Leukemia AML. It was discovered early, so we are hoping that the stem cell transplant he received in September keeps him in remission. At this writing, it looks hopeful.
My older son Darin and his family are staying with me after moving to NH from NC. I love every minute of it. They have 1 girl (10-yrs-old) and 2 boys (2 and the youngest is 6 mo).
