Joy's Story

I have an Optometry degree and a PhD in Vision Science and Physiological Optics. I traveled a lot while I was in school. I attended Tulane U., University of Houston, and U. California Berkeley. I moved back to the Fort Worth area in 2006. I recently married an American Eagle airline captain, Ted Bate. We live on Eagle Mountatin Lake and are remodeling a house near Justin a...Expand for more
nd we hope to move in this summer. Our new house has its own runway and hangar so we are looking forward to getting our own plane soon. I am currently seeing patients in the Fort Worth area and I am planning to open up a private practice next year and will be practicing under my new name of Dr. Joy Bate.
