to the state of Washington where I met my present husband, H. Martyn Hall. He is from Ellsworth,Me. We married in 1991, Jan. 21st.in Reno! Ww lived in Suquamish,Wa. until retiring. Moved again for about 2 years to a house he built on an island called Hood Head.When you cross the Hood Canal Bridge, look to the right and you will see the island. There is no electricity. We used kerosene lamps, and had a battery pack that was charged by the generator which ran our rv fridge. We had a wood cookstove and a propane stove.Coffee had to be made on the propane stove. It took too long for the wood stove to heat up. It was a great experience but as we aged we knew it wouldn't last long with 100 stairs to climb from the beach. Moved to Idaho. Had to repossess a house we bought for one of Martyns kids. Fixed it up and moved to Ellsworth to do the same thing. Moved to Levelland about 2005 to be near my Dad and help him. Later with no relatives there we moved to Newton.Iowa to be near my daughter and grandchildren. This will be my next to last move!!!".
