Joyce's Story
Life
As some of you know I left home while in the 9th grade. I'm not proud of some of the stuff I've been through, but, it was a learning lesson. I had bikers raise me from the time I was 16 until propably the age of 20. I've lived in FLorida, Washington St. Oklahoma, and finally settled down in Texas. I do have a daughter named Katrina, that is 24 yrs. old with 3 grandkids and one on the way. They all live up in Ft. Wayne. I am a recovering drug addict/alcoholic with a little over 9 yrs. of sobriety. All thanks to God and a little work on my part. I'm not the same little girl I was up there that use to buy her friends. Today, if people don't like me I can deal with it.

ve you say to yourself you don't want to even see me. All I ask is to give me a chance to be me. I work in a nursing home as a dietary aide and for me it is very fulfilling being able to serve the residents their food and talk with them a little.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50000000 of it to cahrities, then spend the rest on my daughter, grandkids and me.
My current age is 45. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be ancient. I was so completely wrong.
Here it is 2011 and things have really changer in my life since I last wrote. I am out of an almost 12 year relationship. I'm less than a year away from obtaining my B.A. in Psychology/Substance Abuse Counselor. I will soon be re-locating back to Indiana so I can be with my daughter and now 4 grandkids with one on the way in May.
