Life
I have attended schools in Wilmington, Calif., Santa Rosa, Calif., Hayden and Craig, Colorado, Anthon, Iowa and Graduated from Eastwood Comm School, at Correctionville, Iowa.
I married one of my classmates, Keith Sevening on April 28, 1979. We have 3 children, Tammy, Michael, and Stephanie. They all married River Valley classmates. Tammy married Eric Boock son of Yvonne (Brauninger) who was also a 1973 classmate. We have 9 Grandchildren. I was diagnosed with melanoma in 1991, and twice in 2003. One in 2003 was a deep and big melanoma and I had surgery all 3 times to have them removed. November 2008 I had my 4th cancer removed from my right eye. March 09 I found out the cancer is all gone. g came out ok and they were able to remove all the cancer. I am a housewife and I help our daughter Tammy with her day care when she needs an extra hand with it, and I babysit 4 children daily in my home. I worked at Zenith as an inspector in Sioux City for 5 years after High School until the plant closed, got married, had 3 children, worked at the Cushing School for 5 years as a janitor and did daycare myself for quite a few years and still do day care in my home. I took care of Keith's elderly aunt for several years driving her when she needed to go somewhere, and taking care of her basic needs, until she passed away. I always find something to do to keep myself busy and I like working on genealogy. We live in Cushing, Iowa.
