Joyce's Story
I have been married to Mel Buckner for 32 years, and have lived in Tulsa for 35 years. I worked in the public relations/marketing field until my last job ended three years ago. When I got tired of the corporate life, I started an herb business which I ran for several years.
I love to grow things, and spend most of my time now in the yard keeping things alive, and thinking of new stuff to plant.

I think of high school often, and always with a happy heart. I honestly think of it as one of the happiest times of my life. I was so lucky to have such good memories. I have lots of friends who absolutely hated high school for whatever reason, and I can tell they are envious when I talk about those days with such fondness.
I am still a HUGE Sooner fan, and have never adjusted to the Tulsa environment that harbors so many OSU people!
I will be at the next reunion whenever it is and look forward to seeing many old (I hate to use the 'o' word!) friends.
