Joyce's Story
I am a Kindergarten teacher in Clermont, FL. I am married to Russ Hands, class of 1970, and we just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We have 3 children, all alumni of Northeast HS, and our daughter, Monica Hands was Homecoming Queen in her class of '98. We have one granddaughter, Emily, who is Chris' little girl, and our son Adam and our daughter, Monica, still live in S. Florida.

rtunately, it has not yet affected my ability to teach or live a fairly normal life. But that will change someday and I'm hoping a cure is found before it happens.
I love my life and especially love being a kindergarten teacher. It's just plain fun!!
My best friend would tell you I'm wild and crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as very reserved..
In 10 years, I hope to be still teaching Kindergarten.. I'm going to get there by speaking out for a cure for Parkinson's..
