Life
I got married right out of high school and had a son one year later.When we separated in 1962, I went out in the workforce.In 1965, I re-married a wonderful man who I spent 41 great years with. He died on 07/23/2007.We had one son together. In 1972, I went to work for the State of Maryland. I retired in 1997. Currently I am a stay at home Mom for one of my granddaughters who is 16 and attending, where else, Kenwood High School.I have two other granddaughters, (one of them graduated from Kenwood two years ago and now attends Villa Julie College studying forensics), two grandsons, one stepgrandson and one step great grandaughter. der and have some health problems and can't do what I used to do. I have been selling Avon for 32 years.I attended our 50th class reunion this fall.(2007). There were a lot of classmates there and a good time was had by everyone that I spoke to.For 1 1/2 years I have lived in the Middle River area but keep hoping to get back to Essex community where I grew up and lived for 66 years.
UPDATE!! GRANDDAUGHTER IS GROWN AND ON HER OWN NOW. THE OTHER ONE GRADUATED FROM STEVENSON (WAS CALLED VILLA JULIE BEFORE) SHE CHANGED HER MAJOR AND HER DEGREE IS IN MEDICAL RESEARCH.HAPPILY, I AM BACK IN ESSEX, LIVING IN SENIOR HOUSING ON KELSO DRIVE AND I LOVE IT.I RETIRED FROM AVON IN NOV 2010. MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW TOOK OVER MY BUSINESS.
