Joyce's Story
Hello!
I'm supposed to remind you who I am? Well, I was the tall blonde kicking high in the center of the drill team line.
I am now retired after a long career working as a legal admin. asst. My husband has been retired from his work as a network engineer for a good while due to disabilities and a kidney/pancreas transplant. Since I've retired, we have been traveling a lot more. In 2011 we cruised to Alaska and spent over at week in Seattle. This year we flew in to Reno, spent about 6 days at Lake Tahoe, 2 days seeing Yosemite and the Sierras, then a week in San Francisco with a day trip to the Muir Woods and Sonoma...Expand for more
and the wineries. 2013 plans are Nashville, Ft. Lauderdale, Savannah, cancun, and a 2 week cruise from Boston to Canada and back. Our family loves vacations!
My daughter is 17 and a senior at good oil' West Forsyth -- Go Titans! (She doesn't love it there though.) She wants to work to help others be free from pain through massage therapy.and eventually own her own therapy center. She is also planning to join the Army Reserves. My son is 19 and plans work in youth ministry. He is full of energy and will do well. He is currently attending Forsyth Tech to prep for starting at Seminary. We are all living in Clemmons now.
