Joyce A's Story
Well I was young and stupid back in 1975. I got pregnant and married at the age of 17 to Bob Weeks. This didn't last, but out of the union I got my kids which I wouldn't trade for any thing on earth as I can't imagine my life with out them (or the grand children for that matter. I did eventually re-marry and it stuck. Ron and I have been married for 23 years now and he helped raise the kids when there Dad couldn't be bothered. We left Massachusetts for Maine (where I met my now hubby) and from there moved to Northern New Hampshire, where we purchased a home and settled down in the White Mountains where I wake up everyday to a beautiful view of Mt Wahington out my front door. self employed roofer/painter jack of all trades and really good at it. My oldest are twin girls Jennifer and Robynne (33), then I have two sons Rob (28) and Mark (26)and my youngest daughter is Kimberly who is just turning 23 this year. Robynne has blessed me with 4 grandkids( 3 boys and a girl and another step grand daughter)and lives in WA, Jen didn't have any children as she suffered cancer in her early 20's. Rob gave me a granddaughter and Mark two grandsons. So we have a very large family. I go home to Clinton every couple of years or when sadly someone passes. My brother Jim purchased the family home on Parker St and Joey and Peter at last have homes of their own. I never thought they would move out of the parents house. I miss Clinton especially as I grow older. It will always be my home but I am content with my life.
