joyce's Story
DId you know that Barak Obama is the president of the United States and he's BLACK!? I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would live to see a BLACK president. You should have seen my face when he won the election, I screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed and almost choked off of my first experience eating asparagus wrapped with bacon. If you were one of my close friends in high school you woiuld know that I hated asparagus, but things change... my legs have gotten thicker because now I eat all veggies so I...Expand for more

After I graduated from Bowie State Teachers College in 1966, I started out teaching Elementary school in D.C. In 1969 I transferred to the Prince Georges County Public School system. Since 1985, i have been teaching middle school students . I love teaching so much that I plan on retiring when I'm 100 years old. (laughin out loud a long time!)
