Joyce's Story
Most of the time since high school I've been in school.
I've been to probably every school for higher education in the state. My family lovingly refers to me as "the librarian" or "look who thinks she's so smart!" Something which manifested only after I was released from the grasp of primary education. I married Scott Graham who graduated from Hills in '74. But met him years after graduation. We grew a son Ian, who is now out of college, and realize I am now grandparent material. 😎 I live in Pompton Lakes, but summer down the shore where the rest of the flock have migrated. I'm divorced but my son Ian works for his Dad who sells beer (lots of it) out of Hawthorne NJ. I have my PhD and a private practice as a psychotherapist. My son is a total motorhead...Expand for more
and i love him even if i don't know where the rod and the piston go. I went a little wild right out of high school, dated crazy and lived in a few states before i clicked my heels and whispered "there's no place like home".
I make my own fun by gardening, riding my pee-wee herman bike around town, hiking the ramapo mountains and singing really loud in the car. High school now is a distant memory which probably has a lot to do with the pot that was always wafting out of the rest room stalls. I stay busy listening to the woes of how we all got here. I've got lots of personal experience to draw upon and down deep believe we're all a little nuts which is actually a good thing and a place of encouragement. "All things extraordinary happen outside the box." 😚
