Joyce's Story
After WGH, I went to Ohio U., Athens, and from there, moved to New York City for graduate school at Columbia U., and earned a master's degree. I worked in the city as a news writer in the 1980's. It was exciting. I'm married, now living a more calm life as a high school English teacher in South Carolina. My son and daughter are both in college....Expand for more
Luckily, they're a blessing. As much as we all couldn't wait to move on after high school, it took me a while to appreciate that Warren in the 1950's and '60's was a wonderful place to grow up. On a visit back recently, I felt so sad to see the places I remember in decline, or gone...but, our memories of a wonderful place and time live on.
