Joyce's Story
I've been living in Seal Beach for the last 25 years.
When I first graduated from Millikan High School, I went on and received a BFA from UCLA, then continued on and graduated a Masters Degree in painting from Yale University.
I became an Illustrator about 25 years ago and have enjoyed it tremendously. I have always taught off and on and have been on the fullltime faculty at Cypress College since 1999. I am presently the chair of the Art Department.

o Tim Seymour since 1986 and have one son who is 19.
Even though we have lived by the beach, we have managed to have an array of pets, including a refugee chicken from a chicken factory. She lived out her life in Shangrila in our backyard. We have had many snakes as it was my son's passion and I learned to love them...even when they were loose. (as one is now).
I have m managed to reconnect with many classmates I hadn't seen in many years and it's been really great!
Life is good.
