Joyce's Story
Life
I taught Biology at Burlington Township High School for 10 years. Took a year's leave of absence to teach in Crownpoint, New Mexico, on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Returned to NJ for 1 year then went back to New Mexico permanently. Taught Life Science at Navajo Junior High for 5 years. Met and married an Albuquerque Guy so moved to Albuquerque and taught Bilology, Environmental Science and River Ecology out...Expand for more
on the Laguna and Acoma Reservations at Laguna-Acoma High School for 11 years. I am now retired and enjoying life. We love hiking the Sandia Mountains, a five minute walk from my house. We also love Skiing, clogging and traveling - especially cruising! Seeing as much of the world as I can is my goal now. The American Southwest is beautiful and I have been all over it. And there is still so much more of it to see.
