Joye's Story
I live now and own a marketing communication consulting firm working from home on a lake near Sherrard, IL close to the Quad Cities after going to the University of Northern Iowa, getting married in 1973, moving to Harrisonburg VA in 1986 and then back to the areavia my career as Director of Marketing Communications for Kewanee Boiler Manufacturing and 3 other divisions then owned by the Burnham Corp. restructuring sent my job back to corporate headquarters in PA, but I stayed here in the area to complete my intention of caring for my and my husband's aging parents. Now that both my parents have passed, I'm transitioning my marketing communication firm Sage Marketing Consultants (established in 2000) into a pro bono activity for causes, charities and the publishing/designing of books for starving writers..
